THE SAVANNAH INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW:
Making a splash with entertainment galore!
GREENVILLE, SC., November 30, 2007 - The 6th annual Savannah
International Boat Show, presented by Mercury MerCruiser, docks at
the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center, February
29-March 2, 2008. This is the largest in-water and indoor boat show
from North Carolina to North Florida, attracting 10,000 plus
attendees each year.
Overlooking the Savannah River and historical River Street, the Show
will feature exciting activities for all who attend. Boating and
fishing enthusiasts will have the chance to come face-to- face with
“the latest and greatest” in boats, products and services at
discount prices.
As featured on NBC’s “The Today Show” and at NASCAR tracks around
the country, a NASCAR training simulator will be on site to “rev up”
the crowds. There will also be a celebrity appearance by Twiggy, the
water skiing squirrel who has been seen in movies such Anchorman and
Dodgeball. If that isn’t enough to reel in some good times, a dance
contest hosted by WTOC featuring live music by the Swingin’
Medallions is sure to offer a memorable experience.
Finally, don’t miss great food at the Show’s seafood festival,
bands, face painters and more!
Admission is $8 for adults, and free for children 10 and under. For
